Today was a flat 55 miles. No wind. No humidity, low temps. And I was in 3 pace lanes most of the way, the last being behind a tandem at 21 mph for the last 15 miles. It was my best hour of cycling ever. Day 3 is always good. But I hit the campground at 9:15 and the truck wasn't even unloaded. But there is internet service and we are in a ladies yard that is several acres. There is now a gentle breeze and the property is spectacular.
Off to the pool.

Welcome to my daily blog about me exercising. Sounds exciting? Not. But if you are a FOD (Friend of Doug) or looking for a virtual workout bud, read on. Throughout the year I hope to ride in RAGBRAI as well as in Italy. I have ridden in Italy the past three years and done the RAGBRAI once, as well as the Ride The Rockies 3 times. Also the NY Marathon three times. And I bill myself as the world's slowest triathlete. Truly! Hard to find anyone who trains regularly who is slower than I am! No brag. Just fact. Enjoy.
