day 2

The internet service in Iowa is spotty and sitting here at the smallest pool I do have service, so I am dropping
All my posts in.
Today was brutal. 85 miles of hills that kicked my butt. The first 55 miles were all up and down and then not so much. Met a nice person from texas at mile 20 and rode the rest of way in good company, stopping for a 15 minute lunch of an Iowa delicacy, a breaded and fried port tenderloin. Along the way we did see the tornado damage from last night. A metal silo twister and broken in pieces, trees down, etc. We were luck. Even corn field flattened.

Got in at 1 and headd for the pool with some new found friends, Rose and Bill.
