Had nothing to do this afternoon, and the the cleaning ladies were due in, and since I don't like to be home when they are, and Nancy was going to work she suggested that I go swimming. I thought about it and decided, why not. It was a gorgeously warm day, and a nice relaxing swim would be welcome.
My 25 meter pool was empty when I arrived, so I had it all to myself, whivh is just delightful. As I swam my first few laps and looked at the bottom of the pool, I realised just how correct David Hockney's Swimming pool paintings were. I remember David Geffen owned one. If I had millions I would own one too.
I swam to my favorite mix tape of Greig and Born in the USA. It's lasted the longest of all my swim tapes. It's a good mix of great paced songs plus great classical tunes.
